Clubs

Extended Day Clubs

Whilst Cann Hall do not offer wrap-around care on site, the services of an organisation called Chestnut Grove provide the following:

  • Breakfast club from 7:30 till 8:45
  • After school club from 14:45 to 18:00.
  • Holiday clubs during the school holidays, Monday to Friday from 8:00 till 18:00.

Extra-curricular Clubs

We offer a number of after school clubs which run for a term. All places are booked via termly letters which parents sign and return to the teachers or office.

At the start of each term, we publish a list of the clubs that are running and any associated cost.

Our current clubs are:

  • Monday - Year 6 only - Netball until 4:15pm with Mrs Spall
  • Tuesday - Years 1 & 2 - Multi skills until 4pm with Colchester United
  • Tuesday - Years 5 & 6 - Football until 4:15pm with Mr Abrehart-Briggs
  • Wednesday - Years 5 & 6 - Football until 4pm with Colchester United
  • Thursday - Years 3 & 4 - Invasion Games until 4pm with Colchester United
  • Thursday - Years 5 & 6 - Dance until 4:15pm with AMA Academy
  • Friday - Years 2 & 3 - Try Sports until 4pm with Colchester United
